Analysis and research about trans legislation: Gender identity legislation around the world
Laws of gender identity that allow trans people to change their name and sex in their legal documentation is a very important concern of our community. We present a brief revision of the different legislations, efforts and contradictions.

On March 23, 2006, Darlyn Acevedo Ramirez (19-year-old) was murdered in the city of Santiagode Cali, Colombia. This is one of 12 unsolved murders of trans women that have taken place in the past two years.
